I LOVEd MY BIBLE.
Ehmmmmmmm, yes I Loved my bible with the 'ed', at least I thought I did, don't get Confused,😌 read to the end.
So I got my current bible about 2 years ago as a birthday gift from my eldest sister, I was quick to drop my old bible once I saw this one, If you know the Women's daily devotional bible with the Purple back cover, linen and all, that's the one I'm talking about.
Apparently I had seen it in church with someone and liked it (I didn't tell her) and she got it for me, when she did I was soooooooo Happy.💃🏽💃🏽💃🏽
She probably thought I will read my bible more often now since it was Fine, flashy and all 🤣🤣🤣.Bible that we only opened most times on Sunday and that's only if we took it to church, if it fitted into our bags now. (I have nothing against using the Bible on phone in Church).
I look back now and I really can't believe I used to be cajoled to read my bible, Like What!!!!!!!!! The devil really got me oooh, but no more.Now I know.I study my bible now not out of obligation, or trying to beat or meet a target ( target we never met),😩 but because I just want to know my Father, My Lover and My Friend even more.....
II Timothy 3:16

Everything in the Scriptures is God's Word. All of it is useful for teaching and helping people and for correcting them and showing them how to live. (CEV)
As a Christian Studying your Bible is not a necessity or an obligation its not just even a requirement, It is COMPULSORY!!!!
Wait how exactly are you a Christian if you don't study your BIBLE.
Who is a Christians ?
A Christian is a person who was once condemned to a life of Sin and death but is now saved by the Law of eternal life through the blood of Jesus that was Shed. God has called us to a life of Victory and dominance, summary is we were bought with a price and we need to live worthy of the new Life we have been brought into how do we know how to live worthy ???
By studying the Bible.
What exactly is the Bible ?
The Bible is God in Words.

The bible is represented as the Word Logos in Greek.Logos is the Logic, reasoning, and thoughts of God. So the Bible is basically the Logic, thoughts, reasoning of God....
So what you do when you study your bible is that you are taking time out to find out to look into God, into God's thinking , God's ways of doing things, what will God do if hr was in my shoes, Jesus came and gave answers to those questions in the Bible....
Trying to find out God's ways and intent I believe is the highest from of honour and respect for God......
It is you saying Lord I look into your word teach me to be wise, I am not on my own.
The Scriptures have in them the ability to make you wise, make you rich, make you prosperous amongst other things...
II Timothy3:16
But as for you, continue in what you have learned and have firmly believed, knowing from whom you learned it and how from childhood you have been acquainted with the sacred writings, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus.(ESV)
In conclusion I'll say that more than studying the word please make sure at everytime make efforts to do the Word....that's where the blessing is. Do the Word.!!!!!! We are charged, “But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.” We can study and even make a public commitment to follow God's will, but if not followed by deliberate daily steps of obedience it is worthless. God desires that we Study to know and know to apply.
Joshua 1:8
Study this Book of Instruction continually. Meditate on it day and night so you will be sure to obey everything written in it. Only then will you prosper and succeed in all you do.(KJV)

Do not deceive yourselves by just listening to his word; instead, put it into practice.
Quick tip.
Start with the New testaments if you are confused on where to start and try other versions too. KJV is for Scholars.😅😅😅
And if you sleep while studying your bible, my dear wake up and continue that sleep is not unto death.God Punish the devil.
